ResourceTrance has summarized the results of participation in the experiment on electronic documents integration
This October, ResourceTrance participated in an experiment within a project of the Russian Ministry of Transportation on introduction of electronic documents in road transportation.
ResourceTrance became one of a few companies that tested the introduction of electronic waybills (EWB). During the experiment, the company worked out the proposed design scenarios, tested technical and architectural solutions for organizing the interaction of information systems with the Prototype.
“We learned about the experiment in September and actively got involved in the work: studied the documents and formed our proposals for a form of an electronic waybill for cargo transportation based on our own experience of business processes organization in the company. Our technical specialists and specialists of ProtectionInfoTrans, Federal State Unitary Enterprise promptly worked out solutions and made the necessary improvements, which were tested. In total, for the time of the experiment, we issued 69 electronic documents,” says Anna Vasilenko, Deputy General Director for Automation at ResourceTrance, LLC.
After the experiment, ResourceTrance specialists suggested including the data on the Customer’s Coupon in the EWB form. This is an accounting block that is not used in waybills in every transportation company, but for ResourceTrance it is extremely important. It is also planned to work out the issue of organizing the process of obtaining a medical examination mark in EWB and testing an electronic waybill for passenger transportation.
“For us, as a large-scale carrier, EWB will ensure transparent interaction with the state and with our customers, as well as minimize both time and financial costs related to paperwork.
Participation in the state experiment was an important step for the company, as now we have an opportunity to jointly form ‘working’ scenarios of electronic waybills issuance and offer our vision to organize better interaction between business and the state. It is extremely important for us to work out all the schemes and scenarios of interaction together with the Prototype developers. It also gives us an opportunity to prepare in advance for the integration of EWB both from the technical and organizational sides.
As part of the experiment, our company managed to finalize its own accounting system, to integrate and to successfully test the proposed technical, architectural and integration solutions.
We hope that the tested schemes will not suffer from conceptual changes and we will be able to fully prepare our accounting systems, paying special attention to the organizational part of this project implementation”, says Anna Vasilenko.
ResourceTrance is a participant of the experiment on introduction of electronic documents in road transportation.
From October 1 to 30, 2020, an experiment is being conducted in Russia as part of a project of the Russian Ministry of Transport on introduction of electronic documents in road transportation. The country’s leading carriers, including ResourceTrance, are participating in the experiment.
In the course of the project, ResourceTrance is testing issuance of electronic waybills for cargo transportation in Moscow, Moscow region, Yudino and Nizhny Novgorod.
As part of the experiment, ResourceTrance generates an electronic waybill in its accounting system and transmits it to an electronic document management operator, after which the data is fed into a prototype of the state information system created for the project. Thus, the experiment organization was based on several information systems integration, which helps to simplify the interaction between carriers and controlling authorities.
In the future, ResourceTrance plans to test electronic waybills issuance on passenger transport and to expand the experiment geography, adding Kazan and Kaluga.
“In my opinion, this is a global project, implementation of which will contribute to the industry digitalization, as well as increasing transparency and simplifying a number of processes related to transportation.
We have an opportunity not only to be among the first to test the work of the state information system prototype, but also to give our recommendations on its finalization upon completion of the experiment,” says Anna Vasilenko, Deputy Director General for Automation at ResourceTrance, LLC.
